Your journey didn’t end at graduation–it started a legacy.
The PMLV Upward Bound Alumni Association is a collection of former East Stroudsburg University Upward Bound Program graduates.
Project Upward Bound is a federally funded college access program designed to support high school students from income-eligible families and those who would be the first in their families to attend college. Established under the TRIO programs, Upward Bound provides academic instruction, tutoring, college preparation, financial aid guidance, and cultural enrichment opportunities. Since 1974, the East Stroudsburg University Upward Bound Program has been dedicated to increasing each student’s opportunity to graduate from high school and supporting participants in successfully enrolling in and completing postsecondary education
The mission of PMLV Upward Bound Alumni Association is to strengthen the relationships between alumni and current students; support the transition of current high school students to college life; create mentorship opportunities between alumni and current participants; and work in partnership with the Upward Bound Project to encourage participation in its programs, activities, and development efforts.
